After dropping their first game of the year, Lake Land will look to avoid becoming a victim of being the first win of Parkland’s men’s basketball team. The visiting Cobras have not won any of their first four games, while Lake Land will look to rebound from a tough loss to Danville on Wednesday.

Opponent’s Past Results: Parkland is riding a four-game losing streak to open the season. The team opened up at the Greyhound Tipoff Classic in West Memphis, Arkansas. There, the team lost to Arkansas State Mid-South 85-74 and National park College 75-71. The team lost to Olney Central Community College 87-85 last Saturday. On Tuesday, the team lost their home opener to Bryant & Stratton College 57-52. 

Parkland’s Top Players: Jared Hankins, a 6-foot-4 freshman guard, leads the team in scoring with 17.7 points per game. Hankins is shooting 43.8% from three-point range and 52.9% from the field. Behind him is Clovis Gallon, a 6-foot-5 redshirt sophomore, at 11.3 points per game, who is also shooting 43.8% from three-point range. Don Coats, a 6-foot-7 freshman forward, leads the rebounding at 6.8 per game, while also contributing 2.0 blocks.
