Angela Coe and Ava Zheng each captured two events to help Charleston easily beat Mahomet and Lincoln in a girls swimming tri-meet Saturday.

Coe won the 500 free by more than 2 1/2 minutes in 5 minutes, 22.01 seconds and took the 200 IM by 34 seconds in 2:11.86.

Zheng, meanwhile, posted a personal best to win the 50 free in 27.30 seconds and then took the 100 butterfly in 1:14.78 by more than 7 seconds.

Zheng’s sister, Eva, posted a PR of 1:27.97 to win the 100 breaststroke.

The Trojans placed first in every swimming event to compile 73 points, 26 better than runner-up Mahomet. Lincoln had 16 points.

Some other highlights:

Delaney Goddard took the 200 free by nearly 17 seconds in 2:26.95.

Katrina Hoferer won the 100 backstroke by 7.67 seconds in 1:13.11.

Abby Woodall won the 100 free in 1:08.82.

Taylor Ratliff had a personal best in taking second in the 500 free in 7:53.45.
