Charleston is coming off a dual victory over Olney Richland. Patrick Phillips (42) led the way at Charleston Country Club. Charleston beat Shelbyville, Central A&M and Altamont in a quad meet at Eagle Creek Golf Course on Thursday.
Mattoon
Sophomore Blaine Powers has been on a roll. Last Thursday, Powers led Mattoon with a 3-over-39 to help Mattoon beat St. Anthony and Effingham. Stewart Druin and Meade Johnson each had a 41, while Colton Romin and Evan Diedrich finished with 42s at Mattoon Country Club’s front nine.
