Shea Littleford and Alycia Triplett combined for 48 points to lead Charleston to a 64-34 victory over Champaign Centennial in the North American Lighting Thanksgiving Tournament in Paris on Tuesday night.
CHS, which lost its season opener 56-38 to Champaign Central on Monday night, started strong Tuesday when it scored outscored Centennial 22-7 in the first quarter. Triplett scored nine points, Littleford added six while three other players added baskets in the quarter.
Littleford then scored 13 points in the second quarter to help the Trojans extend their lead at halftime to 39-17.
Littleford finished with a game-high 27 points and Triplett scored 21.

Champaign Central beat Terre Haute North 63-54, Paris rolled past Decatur Eisenhower 67-17, and Danville defeated Parke Heritage 63-37.
