Charleston shut out Marshall 7-0 in baseball action at Marty Pattin Field on Wednesday.

Aiden Archibald started the game, going three innings and striking out four. Brett Spour came in for the final four innings and also struck out four. Marshall could only muster a total of three hits against the duo.

Luke Bonnstetter led the Trojans on offense, going 2-for-4, driving in three runs, and scoring one run. Both Alec Sellers and Spour had two-hit days, scoring a run and driving in a run apiece. Will Applegate went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, and James Hess went 2-for-3 and scored a run.

The Trojans play Tolono Unity at home today at 4:30.
