It’s been a week since Lake Land has competed but should be well-rested to take on a struggling Olney Knights program. Lake Land already owns a 73-56 win on the season from the middle of November. Can the team complete the season sweep on the road?

Olney’s Past Results: Olney has struggled this season, having lost four of their first five games to the season. Among similar opponents, the team was defeated by Parkland 75-58. That was followed by a 73-56 to Lake Land on November 18. The team owns losses to Lincoln Land (69-58) and John A. Logan (76-71). The team does own a 72-69 win over Vincennes. 

Olney’s Top Players: Olney has one player averaging double figures. That is Gracie Shorter, a 5-foot-6 freshman from Sullivan, Indiana. She is averaging 17.9 points per game this season. Among familiar faces in the area, Kenzie Weller is a 5-foot-6 freshman from Richland High School. Raegan Henson is a 5-foot-5 sophomore from Flora, while her former high school teammate Allie Parker is a 6-foot-0 freshman.

Lake Land’s Past Results: Lake Land has not played since participating at the Morton College Classic last weekend. The team went 1-1 in the tournament. That included a 65-42 win over Waubonsee Community College. However, the team dropped a 68-55 contest to Morton College, the No. 2 ranked team in the NJCAA Division II rankings.
