Lake Land men travel to take on two winning teams

After a Thanksgiving feast, the Lakers will indulge in two-weekend games this weekend. The Lakers play at Southeastern Community College in the Broadway Classic. Tomorrow, the team has a quick turnaround with a game against Bryant & Stratton at the Fun City Classic in West Burlington, Iowa.

Southeastern’s Past Results: The team has a few familiar opponents that the Lakers have not played this season. The team owns a 79-73 loss to Spoon River College. The team also owns a 72-63 win over Three Rivers College and a 75-66 win over Highland Community College. After a five-game winning streak, the team recently lost to Sauk Valley Community College this week.

Southeastern’s Top Players: The team is led in scoring by Davion Bailey with 17.3 points per game. He is shooting 50.6% from the field and 50.0% from three-point range. As a team, the team shoots 43.4% from three-point range and takes about 14 attempts.

Lake Land’s Past Results: Lake Land lost their last match to Southwestern Illinois College 91-72. Amar Kuljuhovic led the team with 21 points, while Daillis Cox added 15 points, and Johnny Close scored 14 points. Kuljuhovic also added 18 rebounds. Lake Land is 5-2 on the season.
