GIRLS GOLF

Charleston’s girls golf defeated Teutopollis in a dual match at Effingham Country Club on Tuesday 212-217. Delaney Meister led the team with a score of 44. Madeline Sanders was right behind at 46.

Other team scores: Bailey Wolfe 59, Mia Tribble 63, Morgan Smallhorn 67, Maci Babbs 70.

Mahomet-Seymour improved to 3-0 in conference and 7-2-1 on the season with an 8-1 home win over Mattoon. Nolan Wheeler scored four goals for the Bulldogs with Isaac Waren owning four assists. The undefeated Bulldogs’ JV posted a 1-0 win against Mattoon.
