Colton Comstock drove in three runs and four Mattoon pitchers combined to 4-hit Rantoul for a 12-1 baseball victory Thursday.
Cooper Bergstrom and Cayden Knierim drove in two runs apiece for the Green Wave (9-18).
Logan MacDonald struck out five of the six batters he faced in pitching the opening two no-hit innings.
Kaiden Rice, Zach Wetzel and Chandler Melton then pitched one inning apiece. Rantoul scored one unearned run in the fifth.
It was the last time on the MHS home turf for seniors Bergstrom, Wetzel, Macdonald, Melton, Rice and Jackson Spurgeon.
Mattoon travels to Centralia on Monday at 4:30 in IHSA regional action vs. Centralia.
