Mallory Ramage scored 22 and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Mattoon girls basketball to an easy win over Marshall on Monday night, 64-46.

Faith Niebrugge recorded 10 assists and Chloe Pruitt added 16 points to help the Green Wave improve to 10-1 overall.

Mattoon next faces Decatur Eisenhower on Dec. 27 in the first round of the 42nd annual Mattoon Girls Holiday Basketball Tournament. Tip off for that game is 11:30 a.m. The Green Wave then play Central at 6 that evening.

Mattoon faces Mahomet at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 18. Pool play begins that evening and the championship rounds are set for the following day, Dec. 29.

Mattoon blows past Mt. Zion

Ramage had scored 28 points in a 70-22 rout of Apollo Conference foe Mt. Zion victory on Friday. Pruitt added 12 points, and Niebrugge chipped in 11 points and snagged 10 rebounds. Ramage recorded seven steals and five rebounds as well.

Mattoon is 4-0 in the Apollo Conference.
