Charleston dropped a competitive match against Robinson High School by a score over 7-2. 

The highlight of the evening was Emma Amaya, winning at No. 5 singles and at No. 3 doubles with her partner Hannah Larson. Amaya regrouped after being down 1-5 in her singles match to tie everything at 6-6. She then went on to win 7-2 in a tiebreaker. She then won the 2nd set 6-4 to close out the match. In doubles, Amaya and Larson won 6-4,6-4. At No. 4 singles, Lyla Long was in a real battle that she lost in 3rd set super tiebreaker. 

“Lyla played well and came up just a little short,” said coach Eric Selstad. “The match against Robinson was a little more competitive than our first encounter. They have a very good team and are deep with over 30 players. All our players put in a good effort and I continue to see   improvement from everyone.”

Tessa Ashley and Kailee Gough playing in doubles played well, winning both of their JV matches. Page Brown and Gracie White teamed up along with Addy Logsdon and Kaylie Hutton playing doubles, each winning one of their two matches. Other JV that played were, Arabella Wines and Ella Kenner playing doubles and Emily Kaurin who played some singles matches.
