Lake Land slammed four home runs in the late innings to overcome a three-run deficit and beat Olney Central, completing a softball doubleheader sweep Friday afternoon.
Kaitlyn Scheitler ripped a grand slam and Klara Cejkova-Kolaci added a solo home run in a seven-run fifth inning that handed the Lakers a lead they never relinquished.
Tyanna Graber hit her 10th home run in the sixth and Kyrsten Darrough added another in the seventh to secure the 12-8 victory.
Rachel Kaufman struck out 10 and did not walk a batter across six innings to lead Lake Land to a 9-1 win in the opener. The Lakers scored eight runs over the final three innings of the six-inning game.
Graber, Scheitler and Cejkova-Kolaci collected two hits apiece in the opener.
Marama Makea had a triple in both games, going 4-for-9 overall to improve her batting average to .452 and her OPS to 1.125.
Graber drove in three total runs, going 4-for-7. Graber is now hitting .489, slugging .936 and has an OPS of 1.522. She has driven in 52 runs in 133 plate appearances.
