
Charleston fell behind early and continued to fade in a 67-43 loss to Mahomet in an Apollo Conference boys basketball game on Friday night.
The Trojans trailed 15-8 through one quarter and were behind 32-19 by halftime. The Bulldogs padded their lead in the final two final quarters as well.
Caleb Hurst scored a team-high 12 points.
Charleston (10-17) next faces Rantoul on Tuesday. The Trojans play host to Mt. Zion in its season finale on Friday.
