Lake Land College lost in both games of a doubleheader to Georgia Highland College, twice getting shut out (7-0, 9-0) on Friday. They collected four hits in each game but had 13 total baserunners.
Laker starter Bradley Wolfe kept Georgia Highlands scoreless through three innings in the first game. The Chargers broke through for two runs on three hits, a walk, and a hit batsman in the fourth inning, which was all the support they would need. Wolfe walked two and gave up two earned runs.
In the second game, Lakers starter Wil Roman held Georgia Highlands in check until the fourth inning when the Chargers scored four runs on three hits, including two doubles and a walk. They would get four more runs in the fifth and another in the sixth.
Roman gave up seven hits and five runs while striking out five and walking five.
