Charleston sophomore Zach Stout recorded two individual third-place finishes and anchored a relay team that took second in a quad swim meet held at Springfield Southeast High on Saturday.

The Trojans finished second with 118 team points, 23 ahead of Lincoln and more than twice as many as Southeast. Chatham-Glenwood dominated the meet with 238 total points.

Stout clocked in at 25.34 seconds for third in the 50 free before taking the same place in the 100 free in 59.09 seconds.

Stout also swam the last leg in a 200 free relay team that included Nolan O’Neal, Will Cope and Aly Abou-Zaid, which took second in the event.

Abou-Zaid earned a third-place finish in the 100 back in 1 minute, 18.5 seconds while O’Neal took third in the 100 breast in 1:08.53.
