Charleston’s Molly Weber competes in a freestyle event during Saturday’s Tiger Invitational.

Gretchen Klepzig and Stacey Zerbst were among 10 Charleston swimmers to post personal-best times Saturday in the Tiger Invitational at Urbana High School.

The Trojans finished sixth overall among eight teams. (See complete team results below.)

Klepzig slashed 23 seconds off her time in the 500-yard freestyle to finish in 6 minutes, 59.20 seconds, good for 11th among 19 competitors in the event. Zerbst eclipsed her time in the 100 free by 4.4 seconds to clock in at 1:13.63 and finish 15th in a field of 22.

CHS also took seventh in both the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay. Katrina Hoferer, Abby Geisler, Abby Woodall and Molly Weber powered the medley squad to a 2:11.60 finish and Delaney Goddard joined Hoferer, Woodall and Webber to clock in at 2:00.32 in the free relay.

Geisler finished seventh in the 100 breast in 1:21.14 and Hoferer took eighth in the 100 back in 1:13.05.
