Amber Logsdon led the Trojans with 10 points but it was not enough in a 56-17 loss to the Monticello Sages Monday at Baker Gym.

“It was a tough one. The scoreboard doesn’t hide that,” said Charleston coach Jeremy Hudson.

Hudson was happy with Logsdon’s performance: “I thought she looked pretty good for being the first game of the year for her.”

“We still working on getting some cohesion, especially on the offensive end, but I was happy with our half-court defense, I thought we defended pretty well, we just need to do a better job offensively and then in transition,” said Hudson.
